If you complete this section of our course you will know how to write a range of different letters (complaint, apology, request etc), the criteria the examiner uses to assess and grade your letter, and the common errors candidates make. We will also look at how the letter should be started and ended, the difference between a letter to a friend or a letter to a company, and more. We also have model answers for the writing test to show you how a Band 9.0 letter is written, as well as examples of Band 5, Band 6, Band 7 and Band 8 answers.
